Agency: Spinnaker Direct

The Smurfs in 3D featured on MSN’s homepage as a fullscreen page takeover. Smurfs has a huge fan base and so to attract them and new viewers I designed and built an animated smurf that runs around the page bumping into to page elements and then gets inside the MPU. When the user clicks the MPU, the page slides down to reveal the trailer and additional content.

Arthur Christmas was Sony’s big 2011 Christmas movie, they wanted a big attention grabbing Yahoo Homepage takeover. We delivered a Yahoo world first, Yahoo featured the campaign on their Internet Week stall and needless to say Sony were over the moon. We synced all four banner spaces to create a continuous background and then animated elves and Arthur within this space. Once the intro video has finised I included lovely details like the elf’s eyes following the mouse and hotspots where the characters would jump or swing out. Once you click you are taken to the trailer then to the menu.

Client: Reckitt Benckiser

Agency: Ward 6

Health Hub is a online learning resource for health professionals and pharmacists. Reckitt Benckiser the company who own brands such as Nurofen and Gaviscon wanted to consolidate all of their resources into one central place. I helped the developers at Ward 6  build the front end of this large scale build in tight time frame. The site was split into to several modules about each product. These modules would provide information about the correct usage of the products and then test the users with the use of games or quizzes. There were also nice javascript touches including animated graphs, drag and drop games and interactive flow charts.

As part of the launch I created a 3d map and pin for an A4 poster in Cinema 4d.

Client: Matter
Agency: OPX

A website for London superclub “Matter”. Getting to the Dome was a problem, so OPX got me in to build a travel section to demonstrate the various means of transport available. The map was built and animated using AS3 and then integrated into the website with Javascript.
